Invitation from the Organizing Committee
WEMUN Winter Summit 2022 will be held in Shanghai from January 23rd to 25th, 2022. The conference scale is expected to be 300 people. There will be two committees in every three Sub-Conferences of All-Star MUN Conference, MUNUC China Conference and WEMUNC Chinese MUN Conference, for a total of 6 committees.
Among them, there will set up an academic test for delegates who participated in the All-Star MUN conference, and all registered delegates need to pass the test before completing the registration; and the MUNUC China Conference will cooperate with the University of Chicago Model United Nations Conference to set up a committee to accept the registration of online delegates.
In addition to the excellent Dais members from the University of Chicago, Dais members of the All-Star and WEMUNC Chinese MUN conference are all selected from the top trainer team of WELAND International. They have extremely rich experience in MUN conferences. All Dais will unreservedly show their academic level, pass on their understanding of MUN to every delegate, and bring everyone the top conference experience!
Conference Feature
The integration of overseas MUN society, All-Star MUN Conference, and WEMUNC mandarin committees will bring more options to delegates. Delegates can choose different sub-conferences and committees according to their preferences, conference experiences, academic and English proficiency to get a more immersive meeting experience.
Optimization on committees and topics setting
The committees and topic settings are closely integrated with current international affairs. While retaining the traditional committee, we also increase the proportion of specialized committees. The discussions will not only be limited to the United Nations and relevant international organizations.
The Directors from the Model United Nations of the University of Chicago (MUNUC), which has a long history of MUN and high academic level will work with the senior MUN facilitators from WELAND International to create a super-first class MUN academic experience for delegates.
Online pre-conference academic training
The organizing committee will arrange a series of online academic training before the conference. Delegates can familiarize themselves with MUN rules of procedures, master topic research methods, improve document writing skills, integrate into the meeting faster to improve meeting efficiency.
